There needs to be a system that cleans up the large amount of posses that aint in use.
If a player finds a pos that is offline or active but no shield around, there should be an option to enable the pos to be shut down, unanchored and taken 24 hrs after "enabeling"....
When "enabled", the owner will get a warning and he/she/they needs to go to the pos within 24hrs to fuel it and put it online.
And if players aint removing the posses, Concord or something comes and blast them down after 3 or 6 months of inactivity
This would clean up the endless clutter in High, low and nullsec (and wormspace for that matter).
And it would also clean up those that "claims" moons by just anchoring a pos without using it. |

Thats the issue... why destroy the controll Tower? why shouldnt that be able to be taken when you can "steal" all the modules? Steal the tower, use it urself or sell it.... recycling recycling recycling...

That aint the issue... the issue is all the offline and "empty" posses that aint in use... that cant be "taken" and reused or sold. Free moons are everywhere... Im thinking of the possibilities for players to clean up abit and make some isk at it....
And the pos owners that vigilant, can use situation to set up a ambush and snagg some kills |

Bad news, space is going to be covered with dead Citadels instead.
yeah i forgot about the citadel.... but to my defence... i treated the news about citadel as how CCP hyped up WiS... ergo i wont belive it before it is applied :D
But again, if it becomes so, my idea should apply to citadels too ;)
